 Pastor: Rev. Paula D. Wallace

Thank you for taking time to stop by our website. We enjoy amazing opportunities to serve the people of Rantoul at First United Methodist, where I like to think of our church as a mission outpost. My personal mission statement is to help people realize the relevance of scripture for their daily lives in the 21st century. This means people of every age from birth to beyond 100 years old. The church is a multigenerational group of people who grow together by engaging faith in God, fun, and fellowship with one another.

My journey into ministry began when I was a church secretary for several years, then a youth pastor for 12 years, and eventually was ordained a deacon in The United Methodist Church in 1993 in the Virginia Annual Conference. My ordination as an elder was in 1997 in the Illinois Great Rivers Conference. I graduated from Shenandoah University with a bachelor’s degree in religion and philosophy in 1992, and received my master’s of divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in 1995.

God’s blessings to you as you journey toward God in your walk through life. You are always welcome to engage in the ministry with us as we seek to understand how to serve God as disciples of Jesus Christ.
